Otto Terms of Use

Agreement

Otto is made by Dexidia Private Limited ("Dexidia", "we", "us"). By installing or using Otto, you agree to these terms and to the Otto Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Otto, and remove it from your browser.

Not affiliated with Instagram

Otto is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc., and we use the name only to describe what Otto works with.

Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Otto in your browser for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer (except where the law allows it), or redistribute Otto, or use it to build a competing product.

Your Instagram account and Instagram's rules

Otto works with the Instagram account you are signed in to, and acts only when you ask it to. You remain responsible for your account and for everything you do with it, including through Otto. You must follow Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

Instagram's terms restrict using third-party tools and automated means to access, collect from or post to Instagram. Otto is not approved by Instagram, and Instagram may treat using Otto, including scheduling, publishing and bulk downloads, as a breach of its terms. Instagram decides how its service works and may limit, restrict or suspend accounts at its discretion. Otto paces its requests and does not like, follow, comment or message on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee how Instagram will treat any account. You use Otto with Instagram at your own risk. Use it at a pace a person normally would.

Content you download or publish

Otto can only reach content your account is allowed to see. Downloading a photo or video does not give you any rights in it. Keep downloads for personal uses the law allows, such as backing up your own content, unless you have the owner's permission. Do not use Otto to repost, sell or otherwise use other people's content without their permission.

You are responsible for everything you publish or schedule with Otto, and you must have the rights to it, including any music, images and people tagged.

Acceptable use

You must not use Otto to:

• send spam, or automate likes, follows, comments or messages;
• collect other people's personal data, or bypass privacy settings or access controls;
• infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• harass, deceive or harm anyone, or break any law;
• interfere with Instagram, Otto or our servers, or send abusive bug reports.

Scheduling

Scheduled stories and posts are published from your own computer: at the scheduled time, Otto may open an Instagram tab in the background and publish the item you approved. Your browser must be open and online, with Otto enabled, at the scheduled time. If it is not, Otto shares the item when your browser next opens, up to an hour late; after that, Otto marks it as missed and waits for you to share it, reschedule it or delete it. We are not responsible for content that is published late, missed, or rejected by Instagram.

Bug reports and feedback

If you send us a bug report or suggestion, we may use it to improve Otto without paying you or owing you anything. Do not include passwords or other secrets. The Otto Privacy Policy explains how we handle reports.

Otto Pro

Otto's free features cost nothing. Otto Pro is a paid plan with extra features. Its current price and features are on the Otto pricing page. Every feature Otto has today is free to use, and we will tell you in Otto before a feature you use becomes part of Pro.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; Pro then keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout. We will tell you before a price change applies to your plan. Refunds follow the Otto Refund Policy.

A Pro purchase pays for the features available when you buy.

Changes and availability

Instagram can change its website at any time, which may stop Otto features from working until we update Otto. We may add, change or remove features, or stop offering Otto. Otto is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Dexidia and its directors, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or account restrictions arising from your use of Otto, and our total liability for any claim about Otto is limited to the amount you paid us for Otto in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if Otto was free). Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending use

You can stop using Otto at any time by removing it from your browser. We may suspend or end your use of Otto, or our services, if you break these terms or to protect users or Dexidia.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights or forum that applies to you, courts of competent jurisdiction in India have jurisdiction over disputes about Otto. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Updated terms take effect when published here with a new date. If a change is significant, we will tell you in Otto or on this page before it applies.
