Report a bug
- On instagram.com, open Otto from Instagram's left menu.
- Click the bug icon at the bottom right of Otto's card.
- Say what went wrong, and add a screenshot or short video if it helps. You can paste a screenshot straight into the form.
- Press Send. Add your email if you'd like a reply.

Common questions
Why didn't my scheduled post go out?
Otto publishes scheduled stories and posts from your computer, so your browser must be open and online at that time. If it was closed, Otto shares the item when your browser next opens, up to an hour late. After that, Otto marks it as missed, and you can share it now, pick a new time, or delete it.
Why can't I download a post?
Otto can only download what your account can see. Private accounts you don't follow, and some paid or restricted content, can't be downloaded. Keep the Instagram tab open until a bulk download finishes.
Otto stopped working after Instagram changed.
Instagram updates its website often. When something breaks, please report it; we fix these quickly and update Otto through your browser's store.
Will Otto get my account banned?
We can't promise it won't. Otto only acts when you ask it to and doesn't like, follow, comment or message for you, but Instagram's terms restrict third-party tools, and Instagram decides how it treats accounts. Use Otto at a normal, human pace, at your own risk. See the terms.
How do I remove Otto and its data?
Remove Otto from your browser's extensions page. That deletes everything Otto keeps in its own storage, including drafts, scheduled items and their media. Otto's theme choice is kept in instagram.com's storage; clear that site's data in your browser to remove it. To delete only some items, delete them in Otto instead. To delete a bug report you sent us, email us.

No. Otto is made by Dexidia and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
